Red Cross Annual Reports are released by each Colorado Chapter. The reports provide statistical and financial overviews of the fiscal year, which begins on July 1 and concludes on June 30 of the subsequent year.
Statewide in Fiscal Year 2009, Red Cross Colorado Chapters:
- Responded to more than 400 disasters
- Assisted more than 500 families affected by disaster
- Provided nearly 2,400 emergency communications to members of the armed forces
- Trained more than 100,000 individuals in CPR, First Aid and other Health and Safety courses
- Gave preparedness presentations to more than 18,000 individuals
- Performed casework in 62 international social services cases by providing tracing services, communications, referrals and information.
- Relied on a cadre of more than 2,800 volunteers to fulfill the Red Cross mission.
